Killer B's mission is to bring you a truly intelligent underground sound... He has a variety of styles ranging in progressive and psychedelic trance. His favourite being solid psy trance for middle of the night mayhem. His influences come from early techno and breakbeats. His sound is focused on tight beats, twisted rhythms, spiritual vibes with profound bass lines and this reflects in his productions as well. His quality of mixing and up for it vibe creates an energetic impression on the dancefloor. He’s well known for his versatility by playing for all the underground organizations including, Mushroom Mafia parties in JHB and the Eastern Cape, all the Red Eye parties with guests like Shift, Hydraphonic, DMMT and HydraGlyph. Zion Linguist, Phyx and PainKiller. Held a residency at Trans Sky with Sense and played for Lunartech with CPU and others, BlackFoot, Bear Trap & Groovy Troopers in Cape Town featuring Cosmosis, Multistate, Commercial Hippies, Artifakt and Frozen Ghost and also played on the progressive floor at the famous Vortex, Fu-Cha Gatherings, Psychotic Productions, 4Tune Records, Dragonfly Cuture and many more. Clubs he’s played at include the legendary techno club G.A.S.S with Alan Inferno, a resident psy DJ at Teknotribe along side international guests like Dave the Drummer, Chris Liberator, Ant, Zeus etc., Carfax (Jhb) Labrynth (CT), Organafix (CT), One77 (Jhb), Submission (Jhb), Fusion (Jhb), Plush (george) are the ones worth mentioning. He started producing underground dance tracks in 2000, ranging from techno and psy trance. His first success was his vinyl release "Minimal Thoughts" which is signed to the Belgium label Start Stop Records and went onto 2 mixed CD's. After that he released some tracks with Mushroom Mafia Records. He also forms part of the live outfit called Amoeba with Sense and Insaneacyde, which have also released 2 songs on "Mass Destruction" titled "Morning Star" and "Time Machine". He manages Red Eye Productions who is well known in South Africa for keeping the psy scene alive in Gauteng by promoting artists and hosting monthly indoor and outdoor events.
