Aran Angmar is an Italian based Black Metal band formed in 2020 by guitarist Stavros B. The band's first opus 'Black Cosmic Elements' including Michiel Van Der Plicht (Pestilence) behind the drums, Stavros Bonti on Guitars and Bass and Jesse Peetoom on Vocals, was released in 2021 by Time Tombs Production and distributed by Season of Mist. The album is been mixed and mastered in Rome by Giuseppe Orlando at Outersound Studios. The visual art was made by Nestor Avalos. In 2022 with the first live appearances taking place in Italy and Germany, the band with new line up additions, Alessandro Cupici behind the drums and Simone Esperti on Bass entered studio to record the forthcoming 'Atavism & Dying Stars'. Hellstain Records released the album in June 2023. The band worked with Tore Stjerna (Mayhem, Watain) at Necromorbus Studio for the mixing and mastering process while the cover art of the new album is a craft of Seth Siro Anton (Septicflesh). After the release of 'Atavism & Dying Stars' the band signed a new record deal with Soulseller Records and in late November played for the first time in the Netherlands and took part in the Black Metal Revelation European tour with Gorgoroth, Aeternus and Impalement. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Aran+Angmar">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
