Bio

There is more than one band with the name Right on Target. 1) Right On Target was a 4-piece pop-punk band to arise from local nowhere Duanesburg, New York. 2) H8000-style metalcore from Surabaya, Indonesia. 1)The band lived about 3 years, never doing anything huge, always known as "the group of 3 freakin' rad dudes from Duanesburg High School (and 1 from Cobleskill) doing what they loved." The band only put out one CD, which was short-lived. The album was titled "Grow Up, Get Out Of Town", which was inspired by singer/guitarist Josh Veith's aspirations to finish high school and leave the small town to acquire something more. Many of the songs on the CD are about this recurring subject. Other subjects include trying to be a playa hata, dodging your girlfriend's socially awkward father, and lusting after the girl on the cheerleader squad, stereotyped by oh so many teenage movies. The late Right On Target ended in 2006, when the band DID indeed Grow Up, and Get Out Of Town, following the directions of their firstborn album's title. The members still remain friends, but have priorities which seem to get in the way of doing anything productive as a band. However, an indefinite reunion may still occur in the future. Read more on Last.fm.
