Static Movement

There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Static Movement is an electro coldwave duo from Turin, Italy, formed in 1998 as a side project by Diego Merletto of The Frozen Autumn, together with Arianna aka Froxeanne. In 1999 they released a debut album titled "Visionary Landascapes" on Eibon Records. The musical style of Static Movement is not so different from The Frozen Autumn, but in this case only electronic instruments are used to create a more complex and fine sound; there is also the good novelty of Arianna's voice that catalyzes the attention of the listeners with its beautiful timbre in addition to Diego's. In the year 2000 Arianna joined The Frozen Autumn as a permanent member, thus Static Movement will exclusively remain their "concept research project". 2) Progressive psytrance artist from israel Shahar Shtrikman, aka Static Movement, born in 1984, originally from Ukraine and currently living in Israel. Shahar started his way with classical music from the early childhood, listening sounds of the piano in the living room played by his mother, she gave him alot of inspiration. As he was six years old Shahar already played piano and developed his hearing and understanding in music. In the year 1996, Shahar exposed to trance music from some friends and Discoverd “Impulse Tracker”, a program for producing music. After some time of initial producing, he started a new goa trance project under the name “Impulser'. 10 years later Shahar decided to study sound engineering to become professional. He moved to Tel Aviv and started his studies at “yoav gera sound school”. Meanwhile he was working in a recording studio named “Oz studios” for two years. There he gained alot of experience, recording punk rock, metal, alternative rock among other genres, using both analog and digital equipment also worked in PA company as sound man. In 2011 Shahar decided to open the Project 'Static Movement' with alot of hard work and belive in the music, the project become very popular around the world, the main thing about Static Movement project is to express feelings to the music and write story telling combined with his piano skills and off course keep the best sound quality in every single track. Static Movement released his debut album 'Circle Of Life' in 2013 in Yellow Sunshine Explosion, the second album 'SOL' will be released 2015 in Iono Music. He made releases together with artists like Egorythmia, Gaudium, Klopfgeister, Ranji and many more.. almost all the tracks got released in major labels that exist today.
