Sur Austru is an atmospheric black metal band from Arad, Romania. The band was formed in 2018 from the ashes of the last lineup of Negură Bunget in the wake of Negru's (real name Gabriel Mafa) death and the former band's dissolution. After a series of concerts and festival performances in and out of the country, the band set to release their debut album Meteahna Timpurilor through the Avantgarde Music label on the 10th of September 2019.
