Second To Sun are metal band from Russia. They were formed in 2012 by guitarist Vladimir Lehtinen and drummer Artyom Vishnyakov. Later, Artyom left the band, while bassist Anton Danilevsky and drummer Theodor Borowski have joined. Their sound became more complex and ethnic influenced. First album, Based On A True Story, was released in 2013 after the succesful kickstarter campaign. Nowadays Second To Sun plays instrumental metal with the elements of black metal and ethnic Finno-Ugric music.
