Jake the Joker is a Progressive Metal band from Fortaleza-CE, Brazil, formed in 2012 by experienced and well-known names from the local scene: Raphael Joer (vocals), Felipe Facó (guitar), Lucas Colares (guitar), Lucas Arruda (bass) and Vicente Ferreira (drums). In 2019, Lucas Arruda left the band and Ray Ângelo joined on his place. In July, 2014, they released their first album, entitled In The Rabbit Hole. The release got several positive reviews from the specialized media for its totally independent production already showing a very good music maturity. The album was mixed and mastered by Adair Daufembach (Hangar, Project 46, Tony Macalpine, John Wayne etc), an experienced producer from Santa Catarina, Brazil. From the second term of 2015 to the beginning of 2016, Jack The Joker recorded their second album, Mors Volta, this time produced in association by Adair Daufembach and the band.
