Shiva in Exile is an ethno-electronic project from Munich, Germany, founded by ex-Darkseed singer and video game music composer Stefan Hertrich. After forming in 2003, they released the debut album "Ethnic" in the same year. In 2004, the album won the Just Plain Folks Music Award in the category "Best New Age/World Album 2004". A follow-up album titled "Nour" was released in July of 2008 on Listen & Think Publishing. "Nour" features vocals by Yana Veva. Shiva in Exile provided the theme music for Podcastle, a popular fantasy fiction webcast which can be found at http://podcastle.org.
