After their disbandment in 2009 it was announced she would continue as a soloist, and she has been conducting solo performances as AZUSA. In 2010, she signed with Pony Canyon and made her solo debut under the stage name azusa with the single "i Love". On November 6th, 2013, she updated her blog saying she would be going on hiatus. 2) A five-piece band from Hacienda Heights in southern California that blends Hardcore and Metal to bring a unique sound; they released their first demo over the summer of 2006. www.myspace.com/azusa 3) A band featuring members of The Dillinger Escape Plan, Extol and Sea + Air . The band is made up of Eleni Zafiriadou (Sea + Air) on vocals, Liam Wilson (The Dillinger Escape Plan) on bass, Christer Espevoll (Extol) on guitar and David Husvik (Extol) on drums. Azusa’s experimental music offers a genre-defying sound that combines ethereal and screamed vocals with heavy riffs. Read more on Last.fm.
