There Are Ghosts are a rock band from Peterborough, UK. Formed in 2012, they feature ex-members of Double Handsome Dragons (James Mitchell, Phil Mitchell), The Hendo-san Project, Mend This Tear (Jason Gearing) and Frisco Farr, Aotea (Shaun Crerand). The band mixes elements of post-rock and screamo to make a cinematic, layered and intense soundscape. The band shun professional recording studios, instead using the talents of drummer James Mitchell to record all their songs.
