Dave Gerard & The Watchmen (sometimes Gerard & The Watchmen) is British folk musician Dave Gerard with accompanying musicians that has included multi-instrumentalist James Fridd and violinist Jessica Moncrieff . They have performed at The Royal Albert Hall, Cambridge Folk Festival, and the 2012 Peace and Love Festival in Sweden . They toured the UK in February 2013. Their influences pay homage to American and English folk with hints of James Taylor, Neil Young, Nick Drake, and Sufjan Stevens. Their EP 'I climbed a Tree' was released in 2012.
