Mahumodo was a post-hardcore band from London, UK. Brainchild of Mehdi Safa (see also *shels & *Ancients), they unfortunately only lasted five years (1997-2003) and at the point of splitting they were getting a lot of attention from larger labels and getting an ever-growing cult following. They only recorded four EPs in their five years, 'Shels', 'Bythewaters', 'Aprils' and '*Waves', each went out of print long before they split up and have all been seen to go for over £30 on ebay. In 2003 songwriter and vocalist Mehdi Safa and Drummer Tom Harriman went on to develop a new project, *Shels, whilst guitarists Richard Chapple and Jonny Renshaw formed Devil Sold His Soul. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Mahumodo">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
